I would get on the forum over at, if anyone is gonna know, those guys will.I do not believe there is a 'user' work around for the password.at least I would hope there would not be.I'm the lead mod over at CG. A question/post like that will get locked immediately if I see it. Not trying to be a horses butt about it at all, but if there was a way to get around the password, I sure would not want it posted on the internet. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a password in the first place.Antlermax, have you contacted the vendor? Maybe they can get the manufacturer to help you out short of having to send it back. I'd think there is a simple reset pw code they use.
Gettin them to give it to you is the problem.Good luck with it! I emailed a guy about this particular camera. Also, i think i read somewhere they are discontinued?Anyways, for those of you who need to reset the password of 'your' camera. Here is what the email said.1. Turn camera on and wait for the password screen.2. Press and hold the enter button until the camera switches to the 5 digit password mode. 'Trail sentury cams will not indicate a 5 digit mode on the screen, but it will show '-'.3.Press enter to confirm 5 digit mode.4.
Enter the 5 digit code '66214, then press enter.Note it will accept a 5th digit.5.Camera should display 'PASS' and go into the operating mode. From here you can program a new password from the setup mode.If this is a working work around, that makes the password option useless. But is less of a pain then having to send it to manufacturer.
